Implementing the 2025 work program, with the approval of the leadership of the Department of Forestry and Forest Protection;

On the morning of November 21, 2025, in the Cat Hai Special Zone – Hai Phong City, the Region I Forest Protection Department, in coordination with Cat Ba National Park, organized the Conference for Reviewing the 2021-2025 Coordination Regulation and Signing the 2026-2030 Coordination Regulation between the Region I Forest Protection Department and Provincial Forest Protection Departments and National Parks in the Northern Region.

The conference focused on the following key contents:

  • Reviewing the 5-year implementation of the Coordination Regulation in state management and law enforcement regarding forestry for the 2021-2025 period between the Region I Forest Protection Department and the Forest Protection Departments of northern provinces and centrally-run cities.

  • Evaluating the results of the Coordination Regulation in forest management, forest protection, forest fire prevention and fighting, and the dissemination of forestry laws for the 2024–2025 period between the Region I Forest Protection Department and Northern National Parks.

  • Reviewing, supplementing, and developing key directions and tasks for coordination during the 2026-2030 period.

  • The official signing ceremony of the 2026-2030 Coordination Regulation between the Region I Forest Protection Department and Provincial Forest Protection Departments and National Parks in the Northern Region.

The conference was attended and directed by: Comrade Ha Hai Binh, Deputy Director General of the Department of Forestry and Forest Protection; Comrade Tran Van Trien, Head of the Region I Forest Protection Department; Comrade Nguyen Van Thiu, Director of Cat Ba National Park. The event also welcomed representatives from the Board of Directors of 07 Northern National Parks, including: Hoang Lien, Tam Dao, Xuan Son, Bai Tu Long, Ba Be, Du Gia – Dong Van Karst Plateau, and Phia Oac – Phia Den; as well as 12 Provincial Forest Protection Departments from: Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, and Quang Ninh.
